We're looking to hire an experienced engineering designer to work out of our global headquarters located in Holland, Michigan. In this role you will develop designs for new products and revise designs for existing products, meeting established quality and performance standards, by applying basic engineering principles under minimal supervision. You will develop designs of major scope and complexity from ideas or requirements as presented by the engineer, needs statement, or project team. You will develop engineering layouts for major projects or complex products, using appropriate Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools (personal computer [PC] or workstation), via keyboard/mouse. You will establish initial multi-dimensional model base features. You will analyze designs for proper form, fit, and function, including basic manufacturability, assembly, and disassembly, using CAD tools or calculator. You will also make initial selection of materials, common or generic parts, and engineering standards for designs using catalogs, reference books, or other product drawings.

Education & Experience:

• Associates degree in Engineering design field or equivalent plus four years product design experience. Must have CAD or PC design experience and Pro-E Wildfire experience.


• Four-year technical degree. Must have CAD or PC design experience and Pro-E Wildfire experience.
• Knowledgeable in ANSI drafting practices, including GD&T.
• Conceptualization and visualization skills highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of BIMFA standards is preferred.
