Could anyone help me by comments...or guideline....!!!
I am a graduate student and i am doing anaerobic bio-remediation of Diesel oil into soil. In anaerobic bio degradation i intended to use the Fe(3) as an electron acceptor. But the form of iron is Fe(OH)3 which is anoxic and does not have anaerobic environment. So under the circumstances could anyone can tell me the form of Fe which has no binding oxygen or other such as Mn which can i use. Presently i am struggling to solve and convene my supervisor who said binding oxygen is not ensure the anaerobic environment( MnO2 or other Iron oxides)
