I am a recent licensed Esthetician. I really want to get my foot in the door and start my career. Although, I know that waxing is the way to go. I'm good but want to be the BEST! Does anyone know where I can go for advanced courses in waxing? (Los Angeles) I tried looking on Dermalogica's advanced courses and they currently don't have any advanced waxing. Any info would help! Thank You! =)

Good plan to look for additional wax classes. Waxing is an excellent money maker (particularly Brazilian waxing) and it's amazing the professionals who graduate with only the most rudimentary of waxing skills. Grab your friends and practice until you feel confident!

The International Dermal Institute (or Dermalogica Master Classes)has advanced speed waxing classes. They are very professional, and there classes are excellent. Not a huge fan of their product line, but I respect their advanced classes. Also, have you considered a waxing center? Not sure if you have European Wax or Uniwax in CA, but generally these places train within. Good luck!
