Hi all :)

I'm in the beginning stages of starting my own event planning business in Chicago. After years of guests and friends telling me I should start my own event planning firm, I've decided to take the plunge :) The problem, I'm new to Chicago. ANyone have any ideas on how to get my name and business out and about to get some jobs?

So, I realize you started this thread 7 months ago and this is probably going to seem really out of the blue (if you ever even read this!) But I was googling events planning jobs in Chicago and your post popped up. I was just wondering how the business was going for you? I would love to move to Chitown but I'm stuck in New York/New Jersey until Summer 2012. Like I said, I'm not sure if you'll ever receive this, But I hope everything is going well for you anyway!
