Looking to Intern or Part-Time as a Wedding Planner

I don't have experience planning weddings, but have been involved with running an annual convention at Guilford College for three years. The convention involved approx. 5-8 months planning, working with a budget, inviting 20+ convention guests, managing 35+ volunteers, and coordinating with campus staff to get approval for events, and reserve buildings and equipment. We had an attendance of 400+.

I would love to work part-time or as an intern this summer or during the school year to learn more about what is needed to plan a wedding because I would like to get into wedding planing after graduation.
