You have to be good with people. You have to be computer savy, and you have to be able to do able to follow directions the first time given, even if you have 102 things going on at the time.

Tips I would suggest:

You had better have 'tough skin' (at C-level)
You had better be good at what your hired to do
lastly, be up to date and proactive in what your boss is working on, always read a head and be prepared.

....and never let your boss see you sweat :)

Wear manying hats.
Pointers, find out where your boss lives, and his commute. Email him/her traffic updates. Find out the activities that they like and keep them updated on thing surrounding the activities.
