I've been out of work since July of 2010 (my CEO retired) and am only now seeing things open up after the first of the year. I've been a C Level EA for 21 years, mind you! Just a note of encouragement to all of you out there in the same position. It's getting better. Remember to stay confident and things WILL happen!

Thanks for the vote of confidence - I too have over 21 years of C level EA exp but things are really tough here in NYC. I avoid using the amount of years in my correspondence any more- hopefully I will get some responses to the hundreds of resumes I've sent out. Good Luck to you in 2011!
