New to being an EA

Greetings all,

I am a fairly new EA, having held my current position as EA to the CEO at a non-profit for a year now. Our office hours are 9-5, however I notice that my boss usually gets in around 8:30. Is it typical for the EA to arrive at the same time or earlier that their boss, even if it's not their set hours?
