Their is no salary for an Executive Chef. It is solely based on the size of the operation and the revenue it generates. Yes their is traditionally a "decent salary and the bonuses are normally based on food cost and labor. An executive chef in a casino in Atlantic City will make a lot more than a hotel chef in a neighboring city. Why? The reason is simple the establishment generates more revenue. Example a restaurant chef in neighboring Wildwood, NJ 55K + Bonus AC Chef 120+ major bonuses. |
