Why do you have to ask for an increase in pay when you have been a honest dependable and reliable housekeeper for families that do not think you ever need an increase? The cost of living and inflation always seem to rise but they never want to discuss a raise. Don't get me wrong but I love working as a housekeeper in private homes but I think sometimes they really just want the work done and never really care about what you need.
