An interview requires candidates to be confident in their personal ability to perform. An executive producer interview generally consists of meeting with executives and leadership; exhibit a mirror image of their confidence. Confused? This means you have some doubt in your ability. Consider conferring with your staff, family or colleagues on areas of weakness. Once you know where others feel you are incompetent, your strengths will surface. The number one tip for interviewing for an executive producer position is confidence in your ability to lead any type of personality to exceed their own expectations. An executive producer is more about leading people to love their jobs, than to love you.
