Dear Eddy,
I lost your email address sometime ago and just found it recently. I managed to restart my designs after 3 years of having an EMT lincense and no career. I managed to send out several designs to about 4 companies in late November and shortly after receiving your email. I got a response from my favorite denim company American Eagle along with the response of 2 other companies that wished me the best of luck. Eagle gave me phone time with an actual recruiter after looking and reviewing my designs but they wanted an associate degree in fashion. They gave me hope and an opportunity to possibly work with them only if I get my associate's degree. As a result, I have decided to leave the country (which I wanted to do at age 18) and go to Dallas. That is where the closest art school for fashion is approximately 150 miles from here. I still have the designs saved and the old ones are being remodeled. There are over a 1200 now! I would still like to show them to you but I'll be in Dallas and my luck so far have not been that great but its been better in this career with nothing but a dream than a lincense and 3 years of hard work. I would love to help you and if I find any openings in the marketplace while I look I'll inform you. It is limited without a degree and being an ameateur but not impossible. Until I can get myself situated and cleanup where I messed up in my first career then I'll get back with you. My only advice is that you don't give up like I did once. Then, you'll be forced to settle with a career and left to regret it everyday. Find a way to make your dream come true! Email you back soon.
