New in this forum but i believe by the end of the day i might have what am looking for.Am young boy of 24yrs old and upcoming fashion designer.i went for the apprenticeship course for three yrs and for fours yrs i've been working with.All of a sudden,i've lost interest in the work and it like more people are still bringing their clothes for me to sew for them but am finding it difficult evening to sit down to do the work.Is not that i don't sew to their satisfaction,I do and they keep coming.
I have lost interest in the work and as the day passes by i know and feel am loosing something very big and can't seems to figure.
i just need somebody to help me.Any ideas are welcome.

I have no experience in the fashion field, but I do have favorite designers. They are: Carolina Herrera, Rachel Roy, Balmain, Gucci, Versace, Chanel, Dior Couture, Alexis Mabille, BCBG Maxazria, Balenciaga,Louis Vuitton, Badgley Mischka, and Valentino.I know a lot about fashion dos and don'ts and I know whats in and whats out. My favorite shoe designers are SNL and Christian Louboutin. I have not perfecetd sewing, but I am willing to learn very soon.Hopefully if you choose me you know how to sew!!! I also look at fashion shows, Project Runway, The Fashion Show, What Not To Wear, and read fashion magazines like Bizzar and Vogue. Thanks again

Hello everybody. I am a Fashion Designer in New Orleans that has 18 years of experience in womens wear in Los Angeles. I now do a yearly fashion show for the Louisiana SPCA to benefit their low cost animal clinic and this year we are doing it Project Runway style. We are having try outs Oct. 3 at the Bridge Lounge, 1201 magazine Street. It is by appointment only. You can call Lori Haeuser at the Louisiana SPCA ext. 154 in order to get your appointment. For the try outs you will need three examples of your work and any photos you may have of your work. Lori will also give you the needed application for the audition. There will be 5 designers chosen to show 12 designs each on March 7, 2010 at the W Hotel on Poydras. All models will be supplied and hair and make-up will be done. The winner will receive $500.00 cash, a dress form, and many other prizes.
