I'm a Medical Laboratory Technician with an A.A.S in Medical Laboratory Technology and about 12 years of experience working in a diagnostic laboratory. My most rewarding resposibility is installing, maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic medical equipment. (hematology, chemistry, hemostasis analyzers, et. al.) It's what I like most about my job and I'm interested in making a career out of it.

Is there a certain skill set that employers look for when hiring Field Service Engineers/Technicians? Any schools or degrees in addition to my education and experience that would make me more marketable?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!

I am a recruiter that specializes in placing Field Service Engineers in the medical industry. Your background is good for a medical lab diagnostic company. Please contact me via email at lmccarthy66@yahoo.com to discuss your background.

Thanks.
