What are the top 3 traits or skills every field service technician must have to excel?

Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your field service technician expertise?

It all deoends on what field you are going into. I would list the top three as:

1. Mechanical and Electrical skills. Being good at both is a very bif plus.

2. People person. You will be meeting people If you do good work and get along with the customer it will help you in your job along with helping you employer sell more.

2. Very Very self motivated. You will be working alot on your own and have alot of paper work. Working long hours and then having to go to a hotel and do paper work is sometimes a hard thing to do.
