I have been offered a Financial Advisor Trainee position with an affliate of MetLife. I will be salaried at $35,000 per year plus commissions for the first three years of training. They also pay for self study for FINRA exams and for the CFP. Would this be a good structure to enter into Financial Advising? I am waiting to hear back from Edward Jones and have a meeting with an LPL advisor next week to possibly come on and share his book of business. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
