What are the pros and cons of the company. I would appreciate a response from prior and current Edward Jones financial advisors. Thanks in advance!!! I am looking to cahnge careers and I have been on numerous interviews and have learned to stay away from AXA and Primerica!!! |

I am currently interviewing with both AXA and EJ. I agree that the independent gig is tough to get started but better in the long run. EJ is better in the short run with less income potential for the long-run. I guess you have to decide if you are driven and able enough to be the 1 of 10 that succeeds with AXA or any other independent gig. If you are able to grow within a successful AXA office with good mentors working high net-worth investors you can really do well. I understand why Primerica is worth staying away from but what are your reasons for staying away from AXA if not for the initial difficulty of getting started? |

AXA kept asking me for new "natural market" leads, they never had enough. They were very much like Primerica in that regard- they wanted to go with me to my leads and do the presentation while I watched. |
