I just graduated from college this year and accepted a financial adviser/stockbroker job in NY. Unfortunately, I was promised many things to me that my company has left out or I will not receive. I was promised and misled about many things that I have little power over since I moved here from 300 miles away. I was promised a base salary, dental/vision insurance, and opportunity to relocate after training, but now know I will not receive these. I take my last examination on Monday to be a fully registered adviser. Is it wrong to start looking elsewhere already since the reason I accepted the job was based on the salary and benefits they once offered me? I do not want to burn bridges but I think this is unethical. |

She drew up the slip and I justr signed it. We'll come to find out she post dated it. The interest was bad. Any how the long and short of it is read what you sign, especially your contracts. It probably said something like all previous offers are void upon signing. Anyhow, I would leave the firm. |
