So I got the job, now what?
Any ideas on where to go to meet potential clients?
Also, advice on how to approach them without any product knowledge? How to introduce yourself and how to get their contact info for when you are licensed and ready to offically set up meeting with them.

Ideally you don't go anywhere. You need to look at some of the niche marketing directories that alllows clients find you. Focus on subjects that reveals "money in motion" the best I have seen is the website www.EstateSettlement.com it now allows brokers to join their directory. (but check with them). What's cool is each FA get a territory of over 500,000 people. Essentially, "owning their local market". It really is the wealth management sweet spot as the sites user are due to inherit money.

Simple and powerful.

The site get super heavy traffic and I think they are now going to offer it to brokers.

I just went to the estate settlement site and did not see where to register as an FA. Does it cost money? Where did you go on the site to be added to their directory? Thanks a lot, Kate
