Hello,
I am currently enrolled in the Finance MBA Program at Fordham Graduate School of Business. Fordham's most recent rank in finance on US News is #14. I am happy to be in such a great program, but I am coming from industries that are not closely related to finance. I am a decorated veteran of the US Navy, and worked in communications and marketing for non-profits during undergrad. Now I am entering my 2nd year of the MBA. I would like to become a financial planner, but I have very limited experience in finance. One of the good things about Fordham is that I can change to part-time anytime I want. Ideally, I would like to begin a training program or position ASAP, and continue my MBA one class at a time. Where should I start, and what companies would have interest in a fordham mba / military veteran with no finance experience? Thank you.

Try First Command Financial, if you have military background,it will be a plus for you since they deal with many military clients.
