I am interested in a career with mf or investments. I really like helping people obtain their financial goals and am especially interested in helping people with retirement.

I have a BA in English NON-teaching and haven't been able to establish a career anywhere in the working field (granted I haven't tried all that hard either) I currently reside in KC, MO.

I did sign up with Primerica but am not interested in working with them (they haven't treated me well).

I do not have a series 6 or 63 or 7.

Would I want to start by obtaining a position first or a license first?
I would rather have a salary rather than commission which companies offer those?

Any info would really help and I welcome any questions that may help me toward reaching my goal
