I would like to work a night shift anywhere, & warehouse work seems promising for the hours, but how do you convince anyone that you can translate 13 + years as a medical laboratory technician (pharmacy tech/surgical assist/radiologist etc) & 20 + years cashier/inventory or reception/office to inventory/data entry warehouse employment? Of course, it seems to me that there is a gender discrimination issue since the amount of weight that an employee can lift keeps increasing w/every ad, effectively eliminating most women as employees . . .

I have 13 years of warehouse experience and same as you very dependable, team oriented and a fast learner. I am a hard worker with the willingness to learn new things, but all of this doesn,t seem to matter. Times have changed. To get your foot even in the door of this type of work it seems to me you need the degrees(an impressive resume). Past experience and hardwork means nothing now. It is sad when your not given the chance to prove of what you could or can do. Good Luck!
