How did you get your start doing graphic artist work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

I worked 7 months in my basement putting a book together after College.
3 ad campaigns, 3 tv commercials, 3 logos,

Then I went to Chicago.
25 interviews later I got a job at Bozell.
