I am looking to enter the HR field, I do not have sufficient HR related experience to take the PHR exam. So i am definitely looking for an entry level position. I need help deciding whether HR certification programs like at CSULB, Kaplan, Devry, etc.., are a better option since being certified in HR is crucial. Those certification programs at the above mentioned schools do cost quiet a bit of money. What are the pros and cons of being certified by HRCI vs a public pay University (non HRCI) ?
