Will DUI four years ago disqualify me for an HR job?

Nearly 5 years ago I got a DUI. It was a poor decision, I completed court supervision and have not had so much as a moving violation since. I have recently received an employment offer for a generalist position contingent upon a background check. The paperwork asks about convictions of any kind and I am going to disclose my DUI to the employer. Do you think this will DQ me for the position?

I Hate to say but it will, these employers are so critical and they will look at you like you might a have a drug problem. I've been trying to find a job for three years and I get a lot of call backs, but as soon as I mention I have a DUI I'll receive a email saying were looking for a more quantified candidate.
