Well, I've been applying for HR jobs left and right for about a month now, and I haven't gotten much response back. Even though I just started looking, I think it's going to be harder than I thought to get a position in HR. This really doesn't make sense because there are MANY jobs in the chicagoland area. I've been an Assistant Laboratory Manager for 3yrs., and I start my Masters in HR Training and Development next month. As you can tell, I'm trying to change fields. I'm also starting to wonder if I need to lower my salary requirements even more. I've been looking for fifty to fifty-five thousand, but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to go lower (which might not work right now). Does anyone else feel frustrated like myself?
