I am the General Manager of an air conditioning company on Staten Island in New York City. After reading some posts on this website, there appears to be a concern about the HVAC field and that the "economy" is what affects it. I am sorry to say that after 21 years of experience in this field, it could not further be the case. If you have a company with internal structure and a high level of customer service commitment, the only thing that can affect the downturn of business is the abilities and limitation of their field service technicians. We are always seeking qualified service and installation technicians, who are knowledgeable and professional with a MINIMUM of (5) years experience. Employment with our company is not a job, it's a career.
