Salary amounts posted are WAY off--As a HUC you will make roughly $21,000 to $27,000 and it's a thankless job and can be very stressful at times. Actual salaries, of course, will vary from state to state according to cost of living for each state. With taxes and insurance take home is roughly 2/3 of your net pay. If I had it to do over I'd be a physical therapist assistant as I had started out for....BIG mistake.
