i was wondering how long you would normally go to school to become a health unit coordinator and if it pays a descent wage?

its anywhere from a six month program to about a year in general...pay will depend on location, prior work experience, and certification.

There is a 6 month program you can take and the pay range is from 9.83-12.03

YES, THE COURSE IS APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS LONG AT ANY LOCAL VO-TECH AND I CURRENTLY RECEIVE $14.10/HR WITH BENEFITS AS A FULLTIME HUC IN LONG TERM CARE.
