I’m writing this as you have posted an opening on Craigslist for the position of CNAs/GNAs/Caregivers. As an experienced Senior Clinical Nurse from Ethiopia and with Nursing Diploma from Harar Nursing College , curently i am taking to for CNA class and class will be over next month september 9 . In the mean time I’m interested to work in agency with elder person.. The brief job description on the ad exactly fits my area of interest. I don’t want to be far from nursing and caring environment that will allow me to work in my area of interest and gifted ability. However, as you can see from the attached resume, I have also practical fieldwork experience in many related fields, and I always enjoy new challenges. I’m hard working sociable and to “the point†kind of person.
I have more than two years experience as senior clinical nurse in a big hospital. I was working in the department of internal medicine and surgery; I also worked in the OR. Later I was promoted to the (Shenkor) county in the Harar State, Ethiopia, as health coordinator. There I was mainly involved in administrative issues and health education. I’m also involved in local clinical demographic research studies by compiling and collecting data. I worked as HIV/AIDS counselor and organizer of other health educations. I’m competent in MS office and other windows based applications.
I believe my working background and experience in the field of nursing qualifies me for consideration. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss these and other qualifications with you.
