I am a professional meeting planner and I am looking at transitioning to hotel sales, catering or event services. What's been frustrating is hotels prefer 1 to 2 years experience and experience with Delphi. I've spent many days and nights in various hotels through my work and I love the atmosphere and quality of service. I have a huge passion to service clients and now I want to take my passion and skills to a hotel setting. Can anyone suggest, offer advise, as to how to get my foot in the door? I am open to entry level positions, but they too have been tough! Thanks.
