How did you get your start doing Hygienist work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

I am an industrial hygienist, so when I see the word, "hygienist," that is what I think of. Many of the job search engines and dental offices think of "dental" hygienists. While dental may be more common, some of the questions asked, especially regarding sub-sectors and industries could address "industrial" hygiene.

Please specify what type of hygiene career issues you are discussing so you know you are all on the same wavelength. That is, "Industrial" or "Dental" hygiene!
