Enjoy- not sitting side chair to dds anymore
dislike most- repitition of the job
challenging- what you want it to be
advance & learn- learn yes, advance, yes out of hygiene .

honestly I love being a hygienist, I am fortunate in Washington state to perform anesthetic and restorative duties along with traditional hygiene. I love the interaction I have with patients, love to educate pts in a way that they have never been exposed before, I have been in practice for 13yrs and have no desire to change careers. yes, it is repetitive but that's when your personality will shine through. life is what you make of it, be positive and upbeat and you will truly enjoy it also.

I enjoy to be a male´hygienist, you dont have to just sit and do the same thing all the time, do some courses which will advance you knowlage and it will get you out of doing the same routins day in day out example teeth whitening.

Been in the field 20 yrs, been hygienist 3 yrs. Yes classes would be nice.
