Any ideas on how to break into the industrial electrician trade Down here in southern California? I finished tech school and have a pretty good understanding of PLC programming VFD motor control etc. but just can't land a job, everyone wants at least 5 years experience. Anyone have any pointers or ideas to help out an inspiring electrician who's passionate about this field? Thx in advance.

Start by doing an apprenticeship, I know it takes time but it is well worth it just for the people you will meet.
