hi i have a question i have a degree in industrial engineering but i did not know that i need to take some tests to validate my degree i live in florida.can u please give some information about this validation process,thanks a lot

Hi there. To validate my degree as an ABET degree I had to do the following: 1) contact Josef Silny Assoc. in Miami and the foreign engineering school I attended to make them send the official documents to Josef Silny. 2) I took a class at a local community college because I was lacking 1.75 credits in Social Science. 3) After all these are done, I contact FBPE (Florida Board of Professional Engineers) in order to apply for the first test (EIT). 4) I'm waiting until April 2009 to send my application for applying to the PE license. I hope this was helpful.
