Need an Intelligence Mentor

Hello all. Like many people looking for employment in the intelligence field, I have been trying to find the "open door of opportunity" for quite some time now and I am beginning to give up going after my dream job. I have tried to gain employment as an intelligence analyst at WPAFB but do not know the right people to make the connection. I have a BA degree from Wright State University in International Studies, have learned Mandarin Chinese, and my focus area is Asian studies. In addition, I have also taken courses in remote sensing and really enjoy image analysis. So, I need help and would like a mentor. Maybe its my resume and lack of experience? or maybe I need more education? I'm just at a lost and need some direction and inspiration. If anyone is willing to adopt a lost soul please let me know.
