What can disqualify you from obtaining a military intelligence slot?

I was just wondering what factors can prevent me from joining the military as an intel analyst? Does eyesight matter? I'm 20/400. What other variables could contribute to being denied? Thanks alot for the future help.

Eyesight does not matter. If you can read a computer screen or paper reports, you'll be fine. You will be required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. The military will do an extensive background check. Keep your finances clean and be truthful about EVERYTHING that will be asked of you.

The job requires a lot of research and critical thinking. Written and Oral communications is paramount. If you don't like speaking in public, choose another profession.
