I am a recent grad with a BFA in Interior Design. Currently taking classes to learn design and rendering software and am wondering if its beneficial or a waste of my time. I have experience in AutoCAD and am currently learning Revit. I am debating whether or not to take Rhino. 3d Studio max is not offered this semester but will be shortly, also debating on taking that, sketch up, FormZ. Are any of these significantly more beneficial than another or should I direct my time and effort elsewhere? Thanks |

In LA, AutoCAD and SketchUp are required, and many companies are now using Revit. I don't know about the other programs. I'd suggest you check job postings in your area and see what companies are requiring. |
