Do RGIS invetory workers travel together to the location or on their own?

I recently moved to a city and was offered a job as a RGIS inventory specialist. The problem is I don't no my way around town, so I was wondering do all the the RGIS specialist travel separately to the location, do they all ride in a van together,or do they all meet up at headquarters then follow each other in their own cars to the location? because basically I need somebody to perhaps FOLLOW.

Any former/current RGIS specialist out there?
