You can call Broward County building Department located on south federal hwy in ft lauderdale..

Look up Broward County Central Examining Board, they can direct you to where to get training..

I thought the Adult Education Programs in the high schools had the training for that.. I used to work where we licensed contractors... But we didn't license electricians, I believe that was the State, not County Government.

But, call the night schools for training. Hope this helps.

Look up your local IBEW union hall. You get on the job training and you get paid well.
