How long is the waiting to get into lpn?

I am after reading more and more leaning towards LPN instead of MA. My school requires scores and interviews for both but I have heard with good grades its pretty easy to get into the MA program. This is through a local small tech college (state not private). Is the competition as steep as rn? SHould I expect a year or 2 wait to get in? If so I guess I could go ahead with my plan for MA.

Does anyone know if you can apply for both the same semester? Like apply for MA and LPN and do whichever I get accepted into? I would be finished with either before the next year (they only start new students in those programs in the fall)
