I live in NY and I have twenty plus years experience as a Phlebotomist. With todays economy I'm even having problems trying to find a job in my field.
Word of advice to anyone out there like me -
just hang in there - bad times dont last forever!

Rod and Sarah your level of experience as a Phlebotomist should have you more than qualified to find a job asap so apply, apply, apply! Red cross is usually hiring, temp agencies, insurance companies, hospitals, clinics, laboratories... If that doesn't work, try getting a CPT-II if you don't already have it...if that still doesn't work...consider something else within the medical field that utilizes your skill for more of an advancement.
