In my opinion, I think this field is a bust. I just graduated this past May and I have yet to find a position. I have the school loans to show the education, but no job to pay back my school loans. I'm thinking I should have gone into X-Ray tech instead of Lab tech. Also...It seems you really have to twist someone's arm to pay you at least $20/hour, (and that's southern NY). I don't know what it's like elsewhere.

Michelle, it was over 48months that you made this post. Have you had any luck with finding a good paying job?
