Trouble finding job

I recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Biochemistry. I have been looking for entry level laboratory or research jobs but cannot even get an interview, let alone hired. I have had experience in both fields from the courses at my university, but not actual job experience. Most companies ask for experience, but I cannot get any if no one is willing to give me a chance. I am starting to get worried, and discouraged. Does anyone have any advice on what to do to land a job or even an interview?
