What are the top 3 traits or skills every learning consultant must have to excel?

Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your learning consultant expertise?

Number 1 most important trait a person could have would be an attitude to want to learn, to never be satisfied with what you know, who you are, and ect.

Number 2 most important trait/skill would be humility. When to know when to be a "go-get'er" (so-to-speak) and when to "fall back" and learn from others like a superior or even someone you are "teaching/coaching/consulting."

Number 3 most important trait/skill would be knowledge/wisdom/understanding of learning and being able to "connect-the-dots," as well as being able to empathize.

Also,

Some tips would be to keep learning, learning, learning from anyone and anywhere.

If you want some measurable knowledge, skills and information, I would suggest interning or volunteering at places that will help you learn that stuff more intimately; or just get a job/extra job that will give you that and turn you in the direction of your learning consultant goal. (if you are not already there)

Note: I talk generally because you do not have to have a degree to obtain a learning consultant job or career, although, they are an invaluable help and will give you, typically, a head-start or first choice when it comes to the competition of the job, or career.
