How did you get your start doing legal assistant work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Through word of mouth. I started as a temporary Legal Assistant, and they were so happy with my dedication and hard work that they hired me 35 hrs/ week and put me on salary. I have only an Associates Degree in Accounting and i'm 23. I have zero experience in the feild. Just find an attorney and ask if they are looking for an Assistant! Okay i think i am lucky!
