I've been looking for a year in DC and can't seem to find one. I'm beginning to feel as though I'm blacklisted - HELP!

You are not alone. I am in the same position, I have over 22 years experience in corporate law, MS certifications and great references. My old headhunter would not even return my emails. I found one headhunter who took me on, got me an interview downtown, but I didn't get the job.

The jobs available want very specific practice area experience - most are litigation and patent. If I had known this was going to happen I would have volunteered in a patent firm just to get experience instead of getting MS certifications.
