So I have to become Certified in Ellis Water Safety Standards and I can not find info on what I can expect to be taught in the three day course. Will I be expected to complete a lifeguard standard test? Breast Stroke, Front Crawl... ECT...

-cpr
-rescue breathing
-how to use oxygen
-how to use an aed
-how to recognize a distressed swimmer
-what it is like to be a distressed swimmer and go through the steps of what happens -when someone is drowning...it puts a lot into perspective
-spinals, spinals, spinals!
-how to recognize someone on the bottom of a pool
-how to train your eyes to recognize someone at the bottom of a pool
-how to recognize, react, and get to someone who is in need of a rescue in 30 sec; 10/20...you will eventually swear by it.
-blind spots and how your eyes can play tricks on you
-emergency action plan; eap
-you will get to know your staff very very well and trust them with your life
