Hello I was wondering if anybody could help me on here. I was initially certified as a waterfront lifeguard back in 2007. When I got re-certified, for some reason, the waterfront title wasn't included (I'm certain that it was a waterfront re-certification course)so my certification card said I was just a lifeguard. This was fine for the time being because it was just necessary that I had some sort of lifeguard training.

However, I am being considered for a waterfront director position where I work in the summer (at a day camp) and that waterfront title is needed on my certification. Obviously I would have to take WSI but I was wondering if there is any way to prove I had the waterfront title initially so I wouldn't have to take the entire course over again.

Any input you have would be helpful. Thank you.

Daniel, I am a Waterfront Instructor, in order to prove that you were certified you need to contact the ARC or instructor.
