I am surprised why there is no job offer in our field for those who can not travel for any reason and would like to use their knowledge and language skills in a job where they are living. I have over 15 years experience in translation and interpretation and I love to do what I enjoy which is translation, but I am responsible for my child here and I can not go out of US.
I am sure there is something somewhere in the city i live that I can do but I do not know where. Ant Idea?

I am surprised when there is so much fuss about lack of translator and interpreters for rare languages in United States of America, no one is paying attention to those who can work locally where they live. This will help those who claim there is not enough language experts, to help and some jobs done which is past due for ever and on the other hand let those translators and interpreters who love to use their language skills and do what they have experince in and love to do, insteade of wasting their time doing what they do not like to do.

From a translator & interpreter wirh over 15 years exp.in a rare languge in need, who is a sales person now and may take her language skills to her grave yard! USE ME OR LOSE ME.
